You like me, you really like me!

So disappointed...

I had some final shopping to do for Claire's party and so we headed to our local Target. I am not a week out of the hospital, and even a short walk is too much. I usually depend on the motorized scooter to help me through the store, but even more so than usual, it was a necessity. Unfortunately, there was no scooter to be had. They only had two, and both were in use. We had to leave without shopping for what we needed, and I felt so defeated. Is it me or does 2 scooters seem like not a whole lot for a whole store of people who might need assistance? I am so used to having one available it didn't occur to me there are so few....

SAVING - BIG TIME!

So....I have a lot on my mind. I did about 2 hours of serious couponing...and Rob went shopping with my work under his belt. (I was too sick to go, boo hiss.) He showed me the receipt. We saved EIGHTY dollars. We usually spend about 250 dollars on our big grocery run each month...we paid 140....This couponing thing is totally working.

Here are my questions, now that I really know this is working, big time.

A. I need to be able to show how I do it. It's easier in person. Do I do step by step classes with a cam?

B. Should I rename my blog so that it's searchable with a name like coupon or deal in the name and make an easier to manage coupon site like some of my cohorts?

I have all these prizes and I haven't been able to give them away. I guess I don't really need a reason, but I feel like I could increase my readership with them...so do I want to do that before I have this site I dream about?

Dinner at home

Since my illness it has been harder and harder to care for our home. I know plenty of Moms who clean and cook and take care of their kids and make it look like it's a breeze. In my life, it's not. So when I have assistance, I will take it. That is why I like Dinner by Design. You go and make 12 or 24 dinners and then you just thaw and heat them up. I don't have to think. I don't have to go out to dinner and spend $50 on one meal. It's so worth it to me. Right now, our local DBD has a back to school special going on - $79.99 for 6 meals, 2 sides, a salad, and a "surprise". This is with them prepping it, and it is so worth it. That's like 2 meals out for us, and it's 6 meals at home.

What do you think? Is it worth it in your life?
